When people first come to Moissy Fine Jewellery they are very happy that we have chosen to offer a retail experience to purchase their moissanite jewellery. A very common question we get is “What Took So Long for someone to do this!”
This blog post is to explain why I chose to open a retail store, rather than continue to operate as a private jeweller.
In my experience I had a lot of trial and error searching for my perfect ring. Many many years ago I had already decided that moissanite was the choice for me, but my local jewellers had a low supply of moissanite to see, and nothing that was ever set in a piece of jewellery to try on.
From what I had read in the 100’s of blogs I had scoured through, moissanite had more brilliance than that of a diamond, stunning at first sight, and a clear white gemstone, but my local jewellery stores stocked warm colour moissanite stones that actually looked kind of dusty. Besides that they only had one or two to show and no variety of cuts.
When I started my own jewellery business and introduced this gemstone to my clients, the response was no less than amazing. Those that saw these stones set in beautiful settings, always commented they would have considered this option if it had been available when they were looking.
So cue my entrepreneurial mind and VOILA Moissy Fine Jewellery is born. If you have ever walked into a mall to look for jewellery you know they have a few standard designs and some pretty steep pricing, so at Moissy Fine Jewellery we knew our designs needed to have an extra flair and be competitively priced. Over the last two years I have been able to cooperate with an amazing team of designers and suppliers that made it possible for us to offer some really amazing designs that we know our brides will love.
We did not limit our customers to just our designs, even though we are confident you will fall in love with the designs our creative artists have created just for you, we offer full custom designs in store and online with the same great pricing as our Ready-To-Propose pieces.
