The Moissy Fine Jewellery Lifetime Protection Plan (“Plan”) is a service agreement intended to provide ongoing maintenance and care for eligible jewelry purchased from Moissy Fine Jewellery. By purchasing this Plan, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions.

Coverage & Eligibility

This Plan is valid for the lifetime of the original purchaser and applies only to the original item purchased. The Plan is non-transferable, non-refundable, and non-redeemable for cash.

Coverage remains active only if the item is presented for inspection by Moissy Fine Jewellery at least once every twelve (12) months. Failure to comply with this requirement may result in suspension or termination of coverage at our discretion.
During inspection, Moissy Fine Jewellery may identify required maintenance or service work necessary to prevent damage or excessive wear. Completion of such services is a condition of continued coverage under this Plan. Failure to complete recommended or required services within the timeframe specified by us may result in immediate suspension or termination of coverage.

Included Services

The Plan provides maintenance services intended to address normal wear, including:

• 
  Professional cleanings and inspections
  
• 
  Annual polishing
  
• 
  Stone tightening, as deemed necessary
  
• 
  Minor prong maintenance resulting from normal wear*
  
• 
  Replacement of missing accent stones up to 2.5mm (subject to availability and reasonable limits)
  
• 
  Discounted services, including rhodium plating and repairs
  
• 
  Priority service, where available
  

All services are subject to inspection, approval, and availability and may be refused at our discretion.

*Minor prong maintenance covers tightening and light reinforcement of prongs due to normal wear. It does not include full prong replacement or damage-related repairs.

Exclusions

This Plan does not cover, under any circumstances:

• 
  Center stone loss
  
• 
  Chipped, cracked, or otherwise damaged gemstones
  
• 
  Impact or accidental damage
  
• 
  Bent, broken, or structurally compromised prongs 
  
• 
  Loss or theft
  
• 
  Any condition determined by us to be outside of normal wear
  

Damage Assessment & Discretion

All determinations regarding condition, wear, damage, and service eligibility are made solely by Moissy Fine Jewelry following inspection.

While the gemstones we use are highly durable, they can still chip or crack upon impact. Due to the hardness of these gemstones, accidental damage is the most common cause of such issues. Accordingly, this Plan does not cover damage, loss, or theft of gemstones.

Service Limitations

This Plan is limited to preventative maintenance and minor service work. It does not include:

• 
  Major repairs or structural restoration
  
• 
  Complete prong replacement or rebuild
  
• 
  Replacement of center stones
  

Any services beyond the scope of this Plan may be offered at a discounted rate at our discretion.

Third-Party Work

Any modification, repair, resizing, or servicing performed by a third party voids this Plan in its entirety.

Service Timing

While priority service may be offered, no guarantees are made regarding turnaround times. Service timelines may vary based on workload, material availability, and the nature of the repair.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Moissy Fine Jewelry shall not be liable for:

• 
  Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  
• 
  Loss of use, sentimental value, or replacement value
  
• 
  Any damage or loss occurring outside of services performed directly by Moissy Fine Jewelry
  

Right to Modify or Refuse

Moissy Fine Jewelry reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to:

• 
  Refuse service for any reason
  
• 
  Modify, update, or discontinue aspects of this Plan
  
• 
  Determine eligibility for all claims and services
  

Shipping & Handling

Shipping to and from our showroom is not included under this plan and remains the responsibility of the customer. Clients are responsible for arranging, packaging, and covering all shipping costs associated with sending their item to Moissy Fine Jewelry and for its return. Moissy Fine Jewelry is not responsible for loss, damage, or delays that occur during transit.

Acknowledgment

By purchasing this Plan, you acknowledge that jewelry is subject to wear over time and that this Plan provides maintenance services only. It is not an insurance policy and does not guarantee against loss, damage, or failure of any component.
